Buying GOOD businesses at GREAT prices

Disciplined public equity investing focused on mispriced, durable businesses with catalysts.

About Great Hill Capital

Thomas J. Hayes is the Founder and Managing Member of Great Hill Capital, a New York-based equity manager overseeing over $1 billion in regulatory AUM through separately managed accounts. His investment approach is modeled directly after Warren Buffett’s early partnership structure, emphasizing high-conviction, concentrated positions and a fee philosophy that aligns manager performance with client outcomes.

Focused on Family Offices, Qualified UHNW/HNW Individuals and Institutions, Hayes targets a meaningful (above index) IRR over rolling three-year periods by applying deep-value (with a catalyst) discipline to the public markets. Eschewing traditional marketing narratives, he prioritizes the “Buffett-style” temperament: identifying mispriced businesses with durable advantages and holding them until intrinsic value is realized.

Tom has been featured on:
Fox Business TV, CNBC, BBC, Yahoo! Finance TV, Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Bloomberg, CNBC Asia, New York Post, Fortune, NYSE TV, CGTN America, Financial Times, Reuters, MarketWatch, U.S. News & World Report, Kiplinger, TheStreet, CNA Asia, ZeroHedge, Inside Futures, BarChart, Seeking Alpha, Fidelity, and other major outlets.

On a weekly basis, Tom publishes “Hedge Fund Tips with Tom Hayes” VideoCast and Podcast, followed widely within the investment management, hedge fund, and media communities. It is ranked the #1 hedge fund podcast by Feedspot.

Thomas founded Hedge Fund Tips® (HedgeFundTips.com) as a platform to share actionable insights, research, and commentary for hedge funds, institutions, and individual investors.
